In Stock At Our Store In Toronto (2229 Danforth Ave.)
A wonderful opportunity for sensory exploration for both infants and toddlers. This set of 4 sturdy sensory tubes develops the senses, enriches language development and can be used throughout many stages of development. Sensory tubes create a lens that allows for the safe exploration of small objects.
Develop the visual sense by putting small objects of interest inside, for example: coloured pom poms, things found in nature, etc.
Develop the auditory sense by putting dried legumes, bells or anything else that makes noise inside.
The vented lids can be used to develop the olfactory sense. Add aromatic ingredients, such as herbs and spices to the tubes. ‘Smelling Bottles’ is an activity found in many Montessori classrooms.
The solid lids allow you to store liquid safely inside. These sensory tubes can be used as an aid in the development of self-regulation skills. Just add water, food colouring, glitter and some baby oil and watch the glitter dance and slowly settle to the bottom.
Lids twist on and off. Solid lids hold liquid securely inside.
