Open Boxes, Demos, and Imperfect Products

This section contains products with natural wood imperfections and products used as demos in our store. 

These products are all perfectly functional and safe for young children.

We have discounted these products based on their aesthetics and not their functionality. 

Below are some of the reasons that products are discounted and added to this collection. You will find the exact issue on each product listing so you know what you're getting before you purchase.  

Wood Imperfections:

When working with products made from natural wood, there are always going to be imperfections. These imperfections are a testament to the unique nature of the trees they are made from...and we love the imperfections!

At times, we receive products that we cannot sell for full price due to larger than normal knots in the wood or extra wood filler used to close holes in the wood that make them less aesthetically appealing. 

Damage:

Some products are damaged while in transit. This includes broken boxes, scratches, scuffs, dents and more. 

Demos:

These products have been removed from their original packaging for display or for photographs. They may not come packaged and may have been sitting on our shelves, unused, for weeks at a time.
