Serge has always been an Artisan, a Craftsman. As a self-taught man, he experienced any type of creation related to wood. Serge decided to live as a full-time Artisan in 1990 and he then founded LE TRUSQUIN, LA BOUTIQUE À BOIS.
Fascinated since infancy, Serge Dupras learned from his grand-father Azarie Dupras who handcraft Wooden Clogs. Azarie was one of the last specialist of this art and his artwork was part of the Exposition Universelle de Montréal in 1967.
Located in Sainte-Marie-Salomé, nestled in the artistic region of Lanaudière Quebec, LE TRUSQUIN is an authentic artisan workshop making handcrafted, high-quality wooden toys.
Inspired by history, they design their creations driven by current trends to make them timeless so that you can proudly pass them on to the next generation.
