The Octahedron mobile introduces 2 visual challenges as the infant's vision continues to develop:
The 3 primary colours (red, yellow, blue)
3D geometric shapes
At approximately 3-5 months, an infant's vision has developed so that they can now see the full colour spectrum. The primary colours are contrasting enough that baby can perceive their differences and develop their visual discrimination skills.
The mobile is very lightweight, which creates gentle movement for baby to track with their eyes. The metallic paper catches and reflects light, which helps to attract baby's attention and builds focus and concentration.
This mobile helps to strengthen the muscles in the eyes, limbs and core.
Hang the Octahedron Mobile low, approximately 30cm away from the infant.
Please note that this is not a toy. It is meant to be observed, not grasped.
