The Curious Cookie Picky Eating Mat is a reusable 2-sided laminated placemat (use with dry-erase markers or crayons) with a Food Exploration Game on one side and Balanced Meals Mat on the other.  

The Food Exploration Game takes your child on a food journey using their senses to explore rejected foods in a fun way.

How it works:

1. Your child selects a new or rejected food to explore.
2. Your child goes through each "sensory town" exploring the new food using each sense.
3. While checking off the sensory characteristics, your child develops a comfort with the rejected food.
4. By the end of the journey, your child will be more keen to put the food in their mouth because of the step by step experience. 

The Balanced Meals Mat makes it easy for your child to learn about healthy eating by choosing balanced meals, all while learning to like new foods and making mealtime interactive. 

How it works:

1. Choose: Your child selects foods for their lunch or snack.
2. Colour: Your child finds food items on the mat & colours them in.
3. Check: Your child ensures there’s one food in their lunch from each of the 4 categories.
4. Clean: Wipe the mat and use it again tomorrow!
