Your Cart is Empty

February is Black History Month, and local teachers tell us they're looking for resources to share, specifically about Canadians. So, we put together a beautiful and colourful deck of cards featuring nineteen Black Canadians.

For parents, these cards can be a great way to introduce important figures in Canadian history at home. You can use them as conversation starters, display them in your child's learning space, or read about each person together to celebrate their contributions.

One example from the set is Rosemary Brown:

"To be Black and female in a society which is both racist and sexist is to be in the unique position of having nowhere to go but up." — Rosemary Brown
