Ways To Enhance Play And Development On The PlaySurfer Balance Board
Popping Bubbles
Have your child stand on the PlaySurfer Balance Board while you blow bubbles toward him/her. Call out which hand to use to pop the bubbles. This helps to teach right vs. left.
Upper Body Movements
Have your child stand on the PlaySurfer Balance Board and throw a ball from one hand to the other OR move a ball around their body OR throw a ball to another person. This increases the challenge of balance and coordination, as well as incorporates upper extremity movements.
Squatting
Have your child stand on the PlaySurfer Balance Board. Place objects on the floor around them and have them squat down to retrieve the objects without falling off the board. This will help further strengthen the muscles in the legs and core.

The PlaySurfer Balance Board meets the ASTM Home Playground Safety Standard and the ASTM Standard Consumer Safety Specification for Toys.
This ensures the product meets the highest safety standard.
We do not recommend using the PlaySurfer balance board outside.
However, if you choose to bring it outdoors, we recommend putting it on a rubber surface, like foam tiles or a play mat.
Never leave the PlaySurfer Balance Board outdoors.
To avoid scratches to hardwood floors or damages to the board itself, we recommend using the balance board on a rug, carpet or rubber mat like our Little Bots Play Mat.
The PlaySurfer Balance Board is designed with Baltic Birch - a high grade plywood - that brings the natural world indoors.
