We're staffed with a bunch of wonderful early childhood experts - a mix of ECEs, Montessori teachers, social workers, and nannies - all here to help you find fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate toys.

For those that can't come in, I put together a list of all our current favourite products in the store.

Laura - Squishyland Game

A great game to practice letter sounds and early reading skills. It's just like Candyland but instead of moving to a colour on the board that matches your card, you first have to do the reading activity on the card, i.e. make the sound of the letter A.

Plus, there's 8 card decks, for preschool to Grade 2, starting with letter sounds and building on those skills - phonemes, rhyming words, counting syllables, and refixes and suffixes.

Xio - Taf Toys My First Busy Book

One of our favourite 1-2 year old gifts to recommend. Filled with lots of great activities to strengthen the hands and develop fine motor skills.

It's just handy to have in the car or stroller for on-the-go, i.e. restaurants, waiting rooms, or long car rides.

Patricia - Yoto Mini

Like an iPod but for little kids. Just put the card in the top of the player and you can instantly play audiobooks, music, and interactive activities.

The one's the most expensive on the list, at $99.99, but it's the one your child will use the longest!

Katie - Bug + Bean Silicone Tea Set

Tea sets are always popular but Katie chose this one because it's the only one we carry that is food-safe, enriching the imaginative play.

Plus, the whole set is dishwasher safe so easy to clean if you're adding juice or another type of 'pretend tea'.

Krystal - Folkmani Finger Puppets

"Hard to choose one because I love them all!" Krystal (and her daughter) treasure many of these small creatures. They're perfect for children to play with, bring to bed, and carry around in their own backpack or purse.

With so many options, you're bound to find at least one animal your child loves.

Madi - Brio Flora

These are brand new and so adorable. It's a whole new Brio world with insects and little critters. They're fun on their own but they also fully integrate with Brio train tracks.
