Installation & Care

The Magic Playwall is designed for indoor use and performs best on clean, smooth surfaces such as painted walls, glass walls, and doors.

We have also successfully tested the Magic Playwall on lightly textured surfaces, including orange peel and knockdown walls. However, because every wall and paint finish is different, results may vary.

MagicGrip™ allows the Playwall to be repositioned during installation and removed cleanly from most suitable surfaces without leaving sticky residue. It is designed for intentional repositioning, not frequent daily removal and reapplication. Repeated repositioning may weaken the backing over time.

For best results, ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust before installation. We cannot guarantee the Magic Playwall will adhere to every surface. Certain paint finishes (such as stain-resistant or air-purifying paints) and heavily textured walls may reduce adhesion. Please wait at least 30 days before applying the Playwall to newly painted walls.

While MagicGrip™ is designed for clean, wall-safe removal from most suitable surfaces, wall conditions and paint quality vary. Minor wall damage may occur during removal depending on the condition of the wall and the quality of the paint.
