Native Northwest's 2026 Every Child Matters Orange Shirt Day T-Shirt is designed by Deanna Samuel, Ditidaht, Nuu-chah-nulth. The design reflects Nuu-chah-nulth teachings that children are sacred and carry the future of their people through their teachings, songs, language, and strength. The phrase “The Children Are Coming Home” speaks to the return of children to their families, communities, and ancestors, and the ongoing healing and responsibility to protect future generations.

Native Northwest's Every Child Matters Orange Shirt Day - Protected by our Ancestors T-Shirts both feature a unique design by Coast Salish artist Simone Diamond.

All proceeds from Every Child Matters Orange Shirt Day products will be directed to the Native Northwest Reconciliation Fund to support people and families who continue to be impacted by Residential Schools and intergenerational trauma, and locally to the Native Women's Resource Centre, which offers a variety of services to Indigenous women and children, as well as a safe and welcoming environment in the Greater Toronto Area.
