Dig a Planet - Earth

Dig into planet Earth and uncover six real gemstones hidden inside! Using the included chisel, brush, and sponge, young geologists can carefully excavate the planet to reveal treasures such as an amethyst, sodalite, and opal.

This hands-on STEM activity encourages patience, observation, and an interest in geology while introducing children to real minerals. Once the excavation is complete, the stones can be cleaned, examined, and added to a growing rock collection.
