Solid Maple Dowels

It's recommended to avoid climbers that use anything other than solid maple dowels. Dowels made from a weaker wood can break over time from repeated jumping and climbing. All our climbers are made using solid hard maple dowels.

The Multifold can be configured into six recommended shapes.
This not only keeps it exciting for years but means that you can use it longer.
For small children, start with the M shape, single small peak in the center, or the "upside down checkmark" are perfect for young climbers. In these shapes, it can be used as a pull up bar or easy climber for little ones that are still developing their balance and coordination.
It allows you to fully step back and allow your child the freedom to explore.
Older children will enjoy the house shape, monkey bar shape, or the regular Pikler shape. Adding in the ramp will also provide an added challenge.
Children over 2.5 years old will also find ways to use it in imaginative play. Throw a blanket over it and you've got a tent! Turn it on its side to make a puppet theatre or boat.
