Your little one will love this soft puzzle ball. It is sometimes referred to by different names, including Takane ball, Amish ball, sensory ball, clutch ball or gripping ball.

This is the perfect toy for infants and young children.

For infants, consider hanging the ball from a play gym so your little one can explore it with their hands and feet - batting and kicking it around.  Please note that this activity is only appropriate in settings where an adult will maintain constant supervision and itshould only be done with baby links and not string.  Safety regulations in Canada state that infants should not engage with materials longer than 22 cm or a loop exceeding 44 cm around.

Once your baby is around 5 months old, they will begin to grasp the ball and transfer it from one hand to another. This helps to develop hand-eye coordination and strengthens the muscles in the hands, fingers and wrists.

Its interesting shape makes it easy to grasp, and when dropped, it will not roll too far away making it easier for baby to reach without feeling frustrated.

The ball combines different fabric textures, colours and prints to make it visually stimulating for a baby.  There is a quiet bell inside for additional auditory stimulation.

It's a ball that truly grows with your child.

Each ball is approximately 15 cm in diameter.

Machine washable.  Do not tumble dry.

Available in two colours:  Blue (Product #669076) or Black (Product #666058)
