In Montessori, the purpose of the weaning table and chair is to foster a young child's independence during meal times. A table and chairs at the child's height tells them "you are your own person in this world."

Strengthening fine motor skills. The child will use their hands or child-sized utensils to feed themselves.

What Makes Our Weaning Table and Chair Different from Other Child-sized Table and Chairs on the Market?
Our weaning table and chair have been specially designed to suit a young child's physical needs:

The size of the chair allows the child to sit with their feet flat on the ground and the sides of the chair provides more comfort and security.

The height of both the chair and table is adjustable to grow with the child. In infancy, the chair will have a higher back and sides to help keep them upright and sitting comfortably. As the child grows, the seat is raised, and they will have more room to move their body.

The quality construction and weight make this table sturdier and less likely to tip, compared to other, cheaper children's table and chair sets.

The chair has a small handle built into the back so children can move it independently.

The table top dimensions are 29.75" (75.5cm) x 19.5" (49.5cm)
The dimensions of the chair seat are 12.4" (31.5cm) x 11.6" (29.5cm)
The table has two options for leg length - 12" or 15". They can easily be changed out with an included Allen Key.
The chair can be set at three different heights (from the ground) - 9.5" (24cm), 6.75" (17cm), and 5.5" (14cm).
The weaning table and chair can be used from 6 months to approx. 4 years of age.
The table legs can be interchanged with an Allen Key. The height of the weaning table seats can also be adjusted quite easily and simply with the included Allen Key.
The table can be assembled in 15 minutes with an included Allen Key.
The set is made from 18mm plywood and laminated in white on the table top and chair seat/back.
